Caribbean Rose made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Small Fry Paradise Showdown due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The health and safety of its players should and will always come first. Hopefully Caribbean Rose will be able to host the 2022 Small Fry Paradise Showdown next March.
January 2021 - NBE, in conjunction with Caribbean Rose, made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 basketball season. The world is still being affected by the COVID-19 virus. It wouldn't have been irresponsible for our organization to hold tryouts and practices during this time. Even if the team wanted to travel restrictions imposed by the local government made that impossible. The Small Fry Basketball Association currently has dozens of Small Fry Basketball Teams throughout the United States, Caribbean, & Latin America currently being affected by this pandemic.
January 2021 - The Small Fry Basketball Association made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Small Fry Basketball International Tournament. Small Fry International currently has dozens of Small Fry Basketball Teams throughout the United States, Caribbean, & Latin America. All 50 states and territories have been affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, Small Fry International is very optimistic that there will be a 2022 Small Fry Basketball International Tournament. Several vaccines have been created to combat the Coronavirus. As a safety precaution, the 2021 Small Fry International Basketball Tournament had to be canceled. All 50 states and territories have travel restrictions in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
Caribbean Rose agrees with Small Fry Basketball's decision to cancel the 2021 tournament. The health and safety of its players should and will always come first. Caribbean Rose is a not-for-profit organization created to improve the lives of the homeless, disabled, students, and children in the United States Virgin Islands, as well as assist in charitable work throughout the Caribbean. For over ten years Caribbean Rose has supported the V.I. Jaguars Basketball Team. Several alumni are currently playing collegiate basketball or went on to pursue careers in various industries.

The Small Fry Puerto Rico Basketball Association made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Puerto Rico Small Fry Invitational Tournament. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Puerto Rico, as of this writing, is still under severe COVID-19 restrictions that would have made having the tournament impossible. Caribbean Rose agrees with their decision. The health and safety of its players will always come first.
