Caribbean Rose is a non-profit organization that was created to improve the lives of the homeless, disabled, students, and children in the United States Virgin Islands. We proudly support the Pere Basile Moreau School in Haiti, the VI Jaguars Basketball Team, and the MVP (Marine Vocational Program). The Lives We Impact
Caribbean Rose proudly supports the Pere Basile Moreau School in Haiti. Since 2010, Caribbean Rose assisted with rebuilding the school and renewing education on the island. Each year Caribbean Rose hosts an annual billfish tournament to raise funds for this purpose. The last tournament, the 9th Annual Virgin Island Billfish Tournament for Haiti, was held on August 10, 2019. The Captains' Meeting for the event was on August 09, 2019. It was a great success.
Caribbean Rose made the difficult decision of canceling the 10th Annual Virgin Island Billfish Tournament for Haiti. For 10 years Caribbean Rose has supported the Ensemble Pere Basile Moreau Secondary School in Haiti. The 11th Annual Billfish Tournament for Haiti will be on September 10, 2021. Caribbean Rose also supports the VI Jaguars Small Fry Basketball team. Small Fry Basketball, founded in 1968, provides an opportunity for shorter boys and girls to excel in the sport of basketball, travel, and have fun. The program is developmental, yet extremely competitive, with an opportunity to meet new friends and compete on the international level. The Association consists of teams from all over the United States and the Caribbean. Caribbean Rose made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 and 2021 V.I. Jaguars Basketball Season due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Click here for more information.
Caribbean Rose decided to hold a shorten 2022 Small Fry Basketball Season. The local government lifted all restrictions including travel. The V.I. Basketball Team held the 2022 Small Fry Paradise Showdown on March 11 - 13, 2022 on the island of Saint Thomas, The V.I. Basketball Team also traveled to Tennessee to compete in the 2022 Small Fry International Basketball Tournament.
Caribbean Rose Also supports the Marine Vocational Program. The MVP was established to teach children about the marine industry in the United States Virgin Islands.
